This room is one of the owners' most favorite space in the house. They love this room's character, its warmth and patina that is similar with that of an old French Country Cottage. Built in the ‘60s by the former owners, the room is relaxing, light-flooded, and comfortable. A room full of character with walls of glass, skylights, radiant heated sandstone floors, exposed beams, tall ceilings and a 180-degree view of the upper gardens, gazebo, lake and this property’s amazing wild life. Two huge sliding doors open to stone steps on which the owner creates seasonal, beautiful container compositions. The substantial brick fireplace is flanked by two large windows with wide bluestone sills that rest on low brick walls. Similar windows, sills and brick walls are on the opposite wall. The owner uses the stone sills for flower pots, cut fresh flowers and other eclectic objects.
