The eat-in-kitchen is nicely placed between the family and the dining rooms. Elegant French doors separate the three spaces. The cabinets of custom Thornton maple wood in chiffon glaze color have solid doors for the bottom cabinets and Mullion glass for the top cabinets. The cabinets’ whimsical color integrates well with the durable porcelain stone-like tile floor and the adjoining rooms. To enhance the romantic feel and look, the owner covered all the walls from floor to ceiling with tongue and groove vertical pine boards. Further, to enhance the kitchen's functionality, a stainless sink bowl and a wall faucet on the counter near the pantry was created. On the corner facing the pantry, the owner added an in-wall European type display vitrine cabinet and six-door tall cabinets for dishes and other kitchen items. This is a truly great, functional and inviting kitchen.
The dining room is equally charming with its rustic French table, original corner built-in cabinet, its large window and amazing views of the landscape.
